Here are some simple answers to questions you may have about the small group study:

What is it?

The Made to Change the World group study is an eight week study based off the book Made to Change the World by Coach Brian Williams. It is designed to help you grow, along with others, by not only reading and learning about the power of Christ in our lives but literally growing and changing to walk closer to Him week by week.

It will inspire you, challenge you make you think grow and fulfill the purpose God has for you. You can do the group study in person or virtually.

How many should be in a group?

The ideal size for a group study is anywhere from three to eight people. The smaller group size can create the most interaction, best discussions and most results. If there are more or less it can still be quite effective. We have seen very successful groups all the way up to 20 people in it. 

How can I find a small group?

The best way is to find one, two or more friends or family to do it with you. You would be amazed if you just ask that many people are very interested to meet with you and spend time growing with God and you. You could also check with your current or local church to see if there are potential groups. If you are interested in virtual groups, email us at hello@madetochangetheworld to get further details.  

Can I do it on my own?

You definitely can do this on your own. However, one of the biggest keys to actually changing your life is to have one or more partners that you can be accountable to. If you do things on your own, you can still get results but most likely would have a greater chance at getting stuck in your growth. If you decide to do this one your own, consider have accountability with another person or even a Christian Coach.

What if I have never led a small group before?

Don’t worry, built within the Made to Change the World small group study are all the directions you need to be a successful leader. It is really quite easy. If you are willing to meet with others, play a short video, facilitate asking the pre-written questions, and trust God, you can do this!

Is it for in person or virtual?

This group study has been very successful using both methods. In person is the more predominant, however, in todays age, services like Zoom, Go to Meeting, Webex, Skype, Face Time and others, this study can easily be done virtually with people all across the world.

How long is the Small group study?

The study is eight sessions long. It is designed to be done every week, but could be conducted with the group every two weeks and still be successful.

How do I host a small group study?

It’s quite simple. Find two or three other friends or family members to do this with you, each get a copy of the group study materials then set a date and time for the first meeting. Pick the place (whether virtual or in person) and get started. There are some host instructions at the beginning of the study to help you, but as long as you are ready, able and willing God will do a great work in your group.
