Living a Roly-Poly Life

As I was thinking and praying about what to write for this week's Weekly Thought, the strangest thing kept coming to my mind: to write about a "roly-poly." You know what I am talking about, those little bugs that you find outside or sometimes in your house that look like a small pill and roll up into a tiny ball when frightened.

Equality

There is so much talk in today's world about equality, inclusion, rights, and many other related topics. Going back to my experience of sitting on the jury of a murder case, I realized we are all equally important, and life is precious. After Easter Mission

Easter is one of the most incredible days in world history, especially for Christians. We celebrate our Risen Savior, who has changed time and the course of humanity. The death and resurrection of Jesus have given us hope, healing, and eternity with Him. It is no surprise that Easter is one of the two most attended weeks in churches across the world, in tandem with the other celebration of Jesus’s birth.

Going Above and Beyond as a Christian

We hear the term that someone has gone “above and beyond” at certain occasions in life--- mainly at awards ceremonies, retirements, or times of recognition but what does it really mean to go above and beyond?

When someone does more than what would be expected to be done by anyone in the same situation, that is above and beyond.

“Jesus is above and beyond.”
